Effective Date: July 25, 2026
At JakBot, we believe clear communication begins with transparency. This page explains how JakBot, LLC (“JakBot,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects consent for SMS (text) messaging, the types of messages participants may receive, and how participants can manage their messaging preferences.
Participation in the JakBot SMS Messaging Program is completely voluntary. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to purchase any product or service.
How SMS Consent Is Collected
Individuals may choose to receive SMS text messages from JakBot when they:
- Submit an inquiry through our website
- Request information about our services
- Schedule an appointment or consultation
- Request customer support
- Become a customer and request service-related communications
- Otherwise request text message communications from JakBot
Whenever we request a mobile telephone number through one of our website forms, participants are presented with a separate SMS consent checkbox.
Our Consent Process
Our SMS consent process is designed to be clear, transparent, and optional.
The SMS consent checkbox is:
- Optional
- Never pre-selected
- Separate from acceptance of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
- Separate from any email marketing preferences
Individuals may submit our forms without consenting to receive SMS messages.
By voluntarily selecting the SMS consent checkbox and submitting the form, participants expressly consent to receive the SMS communications described below.
SMS Consent Language
The following consent language is used wherever JakBot collects SMS messaging consent:
"☐ I agree to receive conversational and transactional text messages from JakBot, LLC regarding my inquiry, requested information, appointments, customer support, project updates, and services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase. View our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service."
The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service referenced above are linked directly from the consent language presented on our forms.
