FAQ: Content Creation
Questions about Jay’s Post Amplifier — AI-powered summaries, images, and article generation.
-
Jay’s Post Amplifier is an AI-powered content creation plugin included in the JakBot package. It generates social media summaries, featured images, article ideas, and complete blog posts — all from within the WordPress editor. It supports multiple AI providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, and xAI Grok) and is designed to speed up your content pipeline so you can publish more consistently with less effort.
-
From the post editor sidebar, click “Generate Summary” and the plugin sends your post content to AI, which returns an engaging, shareable summary optimized for social media. The summary is stored as post meta and can be copied to your clipboard with one click. The plugin tracks content changes using MD5 hashing so summaries only regenerate when your content actually changes, and a two-tier caching system prevents redundant API calls.
-
Yes. The plugin generates AI-created featured images directly from the post editor. Images are automatically uploaded to the WordPress Media Library and set as the post’s featured image. You can customize the image prompt template, choose image sizes (square, landscape, or portrait), and set quality levels. The image generation uses OpenAI’s gpt-image-1 model and automatically adds “no text in images” to prompts for cleaner results.
-
The Article Ideas system lets you generate batches of blog post ideas (1-10 at a time) from a topic, target audience, and writing tone. There’s also a “random idea” mode that pulls from your existing WordPress categories or tags for inspiration. Each idea includes a title, description, key talking points, and suggested word count. Ideas are stored in a dedicated management page where you can track their status, edit them, or send them through the article generation pipeline.
-
Yes. The full article generation pipeline takes a saved article idea and produces a complete, structured blog post with proper headings, paragraphs, and semantic HTML. The post is created as a WordPress draft by default (configurable) and can automatically generate a featured image as well. You can process ideas one at a time or use the batch queue to generate multiple articles in sequence. Each generated post is linked back to its source idea for tracking.

Jay’s Post Amplifier supports three AI providers:
OpenAI — GPT-5, GPT-5-mini, and GPT-5.1 for text; gpt-image-1 for image generation.
Google Gemini — Gemini 1.5 Pro and Gemini 1.5 Flash for text generation.
xAI Grok — Grok-3 and Grok-4 for text generation (no image support).
Each provider has separate settings for API key, model selection, max tokens, and temperature. If your primary provider doesn’t support image generation, the plugin automatically falls back to OpenAI for images.
